1. Who We Are
TradeSeekho is a virtual stock trading simulator built by ScaleAIQ (a sole proprietorship business operated by Jitendra Mathur), based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This policy explains what information we collect when you use TradeSeekho, why we collect it, and how it's protected, in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
2. Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:
- Your name and email address
- Your Google profile photo (if set)
As you use the app, we also store:
- Your virtual portfolio (cash balance, holdings, trade history)
- Your subscription plan (Free / Pro Lite / Pro Max)
- Community posts and comments you choose to publish
- Your referral code and referral activity
We do not collect any real banking, payment card, or demat account details. All trading on TradeSeekho is virtual.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate your account and save your virtual portfolio across devices
- To show your ranking on the public leaderboard (only your name, photo, plan, and peak portfolio value are shown publicly — never your cash, holdings, or trade history)
- To process subscription upgrades, coupon codes, and referral rewards
- To respond to support requests via WhatsApp or email
- To improve the app based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored on Google Firebase, a cloud infrastructure provider with industry-standard security practices, encryption in transit and at rest, and data centers that comply with international security certifications. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties.
5. Public vs Private Data
Some information you choose to share is public by nature:
- Community posts — visible to all TradeSeekho users
- Leaderboard entry — your name, photo, plan, and peak value are visible to all users
Your cash balance, individual holdings, order history, and email address are private and never shown to other users.
6. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes (e.g. payment records).
8. Children's Privacy
TradeSeekho is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
